Welcome to the St Gerald’s College website. St.Gerald's College is a voluntary Catholic Secondary School established by the De La Salle Brothers in 1908. The College is under the trusteeship of the Brothers and has over 600 pupils attending at present. The school provides second level education for boys from the castlebar area. St Gerald's is committed to the holistic education of all students, to ensure that individually, they each realise their full potential in a social and physical environment that is caring, supportive and joyful. |

Congratulations to the fifteen St. Gerald’s athletes who competed in this years Connacht Schools Athletics (CSAA) competitions which were held on
Wednesday the 19th of May in Athlone IT. The students included Matthew Ruane, Michael Hall, Kenneth Feeney, Eamon Regan, Aaron Wooton, Michael Conway, Oisin O Malley, David Cronnolly, Fergal Durkan, Damien Togher, Patrick Bell, David Bell, Gareth Heverin, Jack Lawlor and Conor Helbert.
Five athletes have booked their place into the All- Ireland Finals which are taking place on June 5th in Tullamore. These athletes and their events include the following: David Bell-800m, Patrick Bell- race walk, Aaron Wooton- Shot Putt, Michael Conway- Discus, Eamon Regan, Discus and Hammer. Congratulations to the athletes on their Connacht titles and best of luck in the All- Irelands.
